Who are Social Sharks?
VSHR Social Shark is a community built by amazing professionals or entrepreneurs, who are highly successful in their career / job / business but they just did not want to end up their life with just their own success. They are keen to give back to community, their time, experience, expertise, fund, passion etc and enable sustainable development at Vietnamese community.
Social Sharks participate Annual event named - Social Development Factory to pick their preferred projects and then guide/fund those project for bring the value to the Vietnamese community.

As a social shark, you will be part of the Social Development Shark panel at final round. On this role you will see all the different projects presented by different teams and you will decide which project/s you wanna be part of and share the journey together.

My advice for the project leads of SDF 2019:
First 5 mins will be very key, make sure you excite the audience with impactful but realistic outcomes of the project. A concrete execution plan need to be followed up to convince the audience. Last but not least, present with passion.

I don’t see my so-called career as successful. I observe my life journey and I have made a few choices that I have realized later that weren’t for me. I learn from all and do not feel anger or blame the world. I truly believe, that in order to achieve anything in life we must learn how to sacrifice, determining and persistent.

As a social projects lead, your responsibilities are getting heavier everyday and at some point, you just want to give up. But, please do remember why you even started the project. Be persistent. What motivates you will keep you going, fuel yourself by surrounded yourself with positive thoughts and energy from your peers, and your mentors.

As we said in sales / business development : preparation is the key – when you do your presentation, be prepared to every question the audience could raise (even the weirdest ones), there should be no space for improvisation !
Another advice is always ask for help, don’t wait for people to do it for you.
